Things to do in the UK with kids - picked by parents
Every listing tells you what you actually want to know: price, baby changing, breast-feeding friendly, buggy access, parking, toilets...
Handpicked places worth a visit
Featured venues, classes and days out from partners we've highlighted this week.
New Forest Ponies & Village Walks
Easy family walks from Lyndhurst or Brockenhurst to see the free-roaming New Forest ponies, donkeys and cattle - one of the best free days out in Hampshire.
Eastrop Park (Basingstoke)
Big free park in central Basingstoke with a playground, paddling pool in summer and a boating lake (boats paid) - a classic family afternoon.
Why Little Adventures exists
We got fed up looking for things to do.
With a larger family, a day out is never just the ticket price. It is the petrol, the parking, the snacks, the lunch nobody agrees on, and the inevitable loo stop five minutes after you arrive.
We have driven to places that looked perfect online, only to find the car park full before we even opened the doors. We have stood in queues for attractions one child was desperate to see while the other two moaned that they wanted to be anywhere else. And do not get us started on the places with no toilets for grown-ups.
Little Adventures was built to save you that hassle. Every listing has the practical details parents actually need, so you can plan a day out that works for your whole family.

“We wanted a directory that thinks like a parent: parking, loos, food, and whether all the kids will actually enjoy it.”
